Elliott is a musician and educator based in Auckland, New Zealand. Started learning music at age of 14, he was awarded the Musician Award from Smokefree Rock Quest in 2008. After learning jazz in the University of Auckland, he was able to expand his performance in rock, jazz, blues, funk, soul, pop, gospel, reggae and etc. Elliott has performed with various professional artists from different countries. Not only working with original bands including Outside In, Marina Bloom and Steve Edwards Collective, but also he is touring with covers bands and other multiple projects including Elegantly Wasted, Hyzsteria, Good to Go and Lounge Apes throughout New Zealand. Currently studying for a Masters degree in jazz performance, as an educator Elliott will explore improvisation, groove, harmony, and theory to improve students to be more creative on their performance.
