Born in USSR (Tashkent City, Republic of Uzbekistan, USSR). In 1975 he started studying cello and double bass at the Uspensky Special Music School. In 1993 he was graduated as a double bass player from the Novosibirsk State Conservatory (Russia).

His full-time professional orchestra experience includes working with the Army Orchestra of the Siberian Region, Chamber Orchestra of Novosibirsk Philharmonia (Novosibirsk, Russia), the Novosibirsk State Academic Symphony Orchestra (Novosibirsk, Russia), Slavic Academic Symphony Orchestra (Moscow, Russia), Opera and Ballet orchestra of Zatz Theatra (Moscow, Russia), Bilkent Academic Symphony Orchestra (Ankara, Turkey) and Auckland Philharmonia.

Evgeny’s teaching experience includes teaching double bass in Bilkent University (Turkey), The University of Auckland and the Epsom Music School.
