Yun-Hsuan Huang, a native of Taiwan, started playing piano at the age of five and flute at the age of nine. Graduated with Masters of Music from Taipei National University of the Arts under the guidance of flute pedagogue Hwei-Jin Liu, respectively in 2006. During her studies, she was awarded various scholarships and won several competitions including first prize in the Taiwan National Flute competition.

Throughout her study and beyond, Yun-Hsuan has had the opportunity to work and collaborated with renowned musicians such as Seiji Ozawa, William Bennett, Arnheim Yossi, Victor Pikayzen, Nai-Yuan Hu, and Rodney Winther. She has held recitals and chamber music performances across Taiwan and in Japan, Canada and Malaysia. She has performed as soloist and collaborated with Taipei Symphony Orchestra, Taipei philharmonic orchestra, Taipei Wind Orchestra & Symphonic Band, TNUA New Music Ensemble, Academy of Taiwan Strings.


With her dedication to teaching, Yun-hsuan has taught at various universities and high schools in Taiwan. Under her guidance, her pupils have gained admissions to conservatories and universities in USA, UK, Netherlands and Australia.Â
