Originally from New Plymouth, Dominic Jacquemard has held the position of Assistant Timpani/Sub Principal Percussion in the Auckland Philharmonia since 2023. He has previously performed with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. In the field of early music,

Dominic has performed on historical timpani with a number of ensembles including the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century.

Dominic Jacquemard received a Bachelor's degree from the New Zealand School of Music and a Master’s degree from Het Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with support from Creative

New Zealand. He is an alumnus of the Music Academy of the West and the NZSO National Youth Orchestra.
