Louise has had an extremely varied and successful career in

music.


After achieving her LTCL diploma in singing, she went on to take lead roles in a large range of platforms, from music theatre, oratorio, concerts, opera and television.


Some of the highlights were hosting and performing in the

successful TV series, ‘Louise and Friends’ which ran for 3 years.

She took a lead role in 6 series of ‘Radio Times’, hosted by Billy T James. Her classical record, ‘Louise’ won Classical Record of theYear, in 1983. She took the lead role of Eliza, in ‘My Fair Lady’ at the now demolished His Majesty’s Theatre. In 1990, Louise played the principal role, Adele, in the inaugural

opera, ‘Die Fledermaus,’at the opening of the Aotea centre.

She subsequently did 2 tours of ‘Phantom of the Opera’ in New Zealand and Australia over a 4 year period.


Since arriving back in New Zealand, she has taught singing in

several secondary schools around Auckland and still does some private teaching.
